Louth GAA Minor Football Championship Final 2017: Ardee St Marys 6-21 Geraldines GFC 2-10 – Sunday October 15th, 2017, Gaelic Grounds, Drogheda.

30 years after the last triumph by the Ardee Minors combination, Ardee St Marys created history by claiming the Minor Football Championship on Sunday afternoon – and they did so in some style. They beat Geraldines by 23 points in the end, with half-forward Jonathan Commins hitting 2-13 himself in a performance that will be remembered for years to come in the town.
